The NADJ has been contacted by Katie Charlton, of RDPO Enterprises Ltd, who offer event management for various events for under 18s. RDPO Enterprises have contracts with local authorities for the delivery of uOne8, Talent and Party in the Park events. They are looking for professional DJs to take part in some of their events in the Wirral for the next year (June 2010 – May 2011). NADJ members who are interested in taking up this opportunity must have the manpower to cover all or some of the bookings, so it may be a good idea for you to network with your colleagues to make sure a high level of service is provided at each event. |

The NADJ has received an e-mail from the makers of a prime-time TV show on BBC. If any DJ is interested in taking part, please contact Charlie Lewis on the telephone number or e-mail address below: John Bishop's Britain is new, prime time BBC1 entertainment programme for Saturday nights. In each show the comedian John Bishop will look at a different topic through his own stories and experiences and those of the people of Britain. We're trying to find a host of people from different backgrounds, careers and interests to represent the people of Britain – from teenagers in the east end of London to aristocrats. The intention of the show is not to ridicule any of the interviewees or to leave anyone looking silly – John's style of comedy and the tone of the show is very warm, celebratory and inclusive. |
