Free Youth Membership for 16–18 Year Old DJs
NADJ is committed to supporting the next generation of DJs by offering FREE Youth Memberships for 16–18 year olds. This initiative is part of our long-term plan to strengthen the industry, open new pathways into DJing, and make professional development accessible to young people across the UK.
Youth Members receive access to almost all of the same benefits as Full Members, including national networking, training opportunities, industry events, regional meet-ups and development programmes. The only exclusion is Public Liability Insurance (PLI), which is available exclusively to members aged 18+ under a full paid membership.
Whether you’re just starting out, building confidence behind the decks or exploring DJing as a future career, Youth Membership gives you the support, environment and connections to grow. With NADJ transitioning to a Community Interest Company (CiC), we are expanding our training pathways, working towards formal standards and preparing to open apprenticeship opportunities worth up to £28,000 per learner — and young DJs will be among the first to benefit.
If you’re aged 16–18 or know someone who would benefit, Youth Membership is an ideal opportunity to get involved, learn from experienced DJs and become part of a national community.
