You can now only leave your home for very limited purposes.
- Shopping for basic necessities.
- One form of exercise per day.
- Any medical need or care for a vulnerable person.
- Travelling to and from work, only if absolutely necessary.
To ensure compliance, the Government has closed shops selling non-essential goods. They will also stop all gatherings of two or more people in public, as well as stopping all social events including weddings.
The advice is very clear and we advise ALL members of the NADJ and the wider DJ community in the UK that during this time, to protect yourselves, your families and the general public, that you DO NOT, under ANY circumstances attend a celebration in your capacity as a DJ.
The Government has laid out in simple terms that sanctions such as fines or otherwise will be given to those who do not follow this advice and furthermore, for our Pro / Pro PB members you WILL NOT be covered under our group PLI policy.
We really cannot make this any clearer. Any members found ignoring these rules can and will have their NADJ membership cancelled.
Stay at home and keep your families safe.
The NADJ Committee.
