The National Association of Disc Jockeys has the platforms, tools, and infrastructure to deliver consistent, high-quality content across the industry. With active social media channels, multiple websites, a dedicated radio stream, and a podcast about to launch, the foundation is already in place. What is needed now is contribution from within the membership.
Across the wider DJ industry, most content is produced without payment. Even established printed publications often rely on unpaid submissions, offering exposure as the only return. NADJ is taking a different approach by recognising the time and effort required to produce meaningful content.
We are inviting members to contribute across a range of formats, including social media features, interviews, podcast episodes, and written articles. A nominal fee of up to £100 per approved piece will be offered, depending on the level of work involved. This is intended for fully edited video or podcast content, as well as well-written, original articles.
All written submissions must be genuinely human-created. AI-generated content will not be accepted. The aim is to reflect real experience, individual voice, and practical insight from working DJs.
This is not about quantity alone. Submissions must be original, relevant, and aligned with the standards of the association. Topics may include real event experiences, technical advice, industry discussion, or informed opinion – all under the NADJ brand.
The objective is to build a consistent and credible output that represents DJs across the UK. Those who contribute will support the association while also gaining recognition and a nominal return for their time.
