We’re pleased to formally announce the release of a new paid role within NADJ: Community Engagement Executive, with responsibility for membership recruitment and retention.
This appointment is an important step in the continued development of NADJ following our transition to a CIC and reflects a clear commitment to investing back into the organisation and its members. The Community Engagement Executive role has been created to strengthen how we connect with existing members, support new applicants, and ensure that member benefits remain relevant, accessible, and well communicated.
The focus of the role is practical and member-facing. Responsibilities include welcoming new members, supporting renewals, gathering feedback, improving engagement across our platforms, and helping to communicate the value of membership more clearly to the wider DJ community. Recruitment is not treated as a numbers exercise alone; retention, service quality, and long-term trust are equally central to the remit.
This role works closely with the Managing Director and wider NADJ team, helping to turn strategy into day-to-day action. Importantly, it also marks a shift away from relying solely on volunteer time, recognising that consistent engagement and growth require dedicated resource.
