Merch, merch, merch. Whatever happened to NADJ merch?
Traditionally the association used to ‘bulk’ order 1 or 2 product lines to resell to members. This meant that central funds were tied up until the products sold and one person had to pick up the labour of posting and packing (not to mention extra work for the treasurers tracking and paying expenses!). A system that ultimately failed despite best efforts and intentions.
So we have modernised our approach to merch and signed up to a drop shipping trial. This system allows us to offer over 150 product lines in multiple colours with absolutely no financial commitment from central funds and its a system that requires zero labour, the transaction is between the printer and the customer. This system offers no delays in posting your orders out, no minimum order quantities, opportunity to add your own logo to the products alongside the NADJ logo and NADJ receive a % on all sales. A Win, win, win situation!
A new logo? One of the points raised in our last national Zoom was how a re-branding exercise would help to promote the positive changes that are being made to the association and shake off ‘the old boys club’ reputation. One of the draft logos is on the below shipping sample. We’d love to hear your thoughts on it!
Have a great weekend!
