The National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) is launching a new series of regional “Tea and Test” days designed to support members through networking, compliance support, and informal social opportunities within the DJ community.
The initiative will see NADJ representatives hosting relaxed local meet-ups across the UK, where members can enjoy free tea and refreshments while connecting with fellow DJs, entertainers, and industry professionals in their area.
As part of the programme, NADJ members attending the events will also receive free PAT/EET testing up to the value of £100, helping members maintain safe and compliant equipment standards ahead of busy event seasons. In addition, every attending member will be offered a free PSA test as part of the association’s wider commitment to supporting professional standards and member wellbeing.
The events are intended to create a welcoming and supportive environment where DJs can socialise, share experiences, discuss industry challenges, and access practical support without the formal atmosphere often associated with larger trade events.
Wayne Davies, CEO of the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) CIC, said:
“These events are about bringing DJs together at a regional level, encouraging conversation, supporting professionalism, and giving something practical back to our members. Sometimes the simplest ideas — a cup of tea, a chat, and helping somebody stay compliant — can have the biggest impact on strengthening our community.”
The regional Tea and Test days will be rolled out gradually across different parts of the UK, with dates and locations announced through NADJ communication channels and regional networks.
The National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) CIC is the UK’s largest professional association for DJs and mobile entertainment providers, working to support professionalism, education, networking, and industry standards throughout the sector.
